Celebrating Kit's Journey: A Recap of the Entrepreneurs of Lantau Event

Last night, I had the pleasure of interviewing Kit, the amazing founder of The Village Bakery, at our Entrepreneurs of Lantau event. The room was packed with eager listeners, and Kit's story truly captivated everyone.

The Event Highlights


  1. An Engaging Storyteller: Kit was so animated and enthusiastic as she shared her story. The crowd loved her energy and passion for her craft. Her journey from childhood responsibilities to running a successful bakery resonated deeply with everyone.

  2. The Heart of the Community: The Village Bakery isn't just about great bread and coffee; it's a central part of our community. Kit’s dedication to her bakery and the community shone through her words, making it clear why her business is so loved.

  3. Warm Hospitality: Our hosts, Bess and Solomon from Leeder Quay Wine and Liquor Store, were amazing. They offered a lovely selection of wines and started the evening with gin and tonics, setting a great tone for the event.

  4. A Feast for the Senses: Kit brought a wonderful selection of bread, cheeses, and a beautiful cake for everyone to try. It was a delicious addition to the evening and gave everyone a taste of The Village Bakery’s offerings.

  5. Visual Storytelling: For the first time, we had a huge TV screen to show pictures from Kit’s life. It was fantastic to see her journey so clearly through these images
